Our History...

First conceived by our creator, Caroline Selia, Musaic was born out of the desire to smear the lines between genres and see what
exciting new music could be created! Our first concert was on December 6, 2009 at Bowery Electric went amazingly well and
brought a whole new definition to the concept of "musical experience". Some of our musical guests included the rock band
Nobody Can Dance, pop diva Chevonne, Metropolitan Opera Singer Liam Bonner, and award winning musical theatre
composer/performer Will Reynolds. We were also lucky enough to have an awesome PR executive, Melissa Smolensky - to let
everyone know about us and a very talented photographer,
Diana Levine on hand to capture some of our guests and artists.

soprano Katherine Cardin, mezzo-soprano Kara Cornell, musical theatre talents Maurice Parent & Dan Radzikowski

The second event in the Musaic Concert Series was also a benefit concert for the charity "To Write Love on Her Arms"
(www.twloha.com) which is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with
depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also to invest directly into
treatment and recovery.

It took place at Crash Mansion at 199 Bowery on June 28, 2010.

"I commend Caroline Selia on a brilliant idea and flawless execution. Combining genres and
encouraging people to experience the differences in music all in one night and in one place,
together, is a genius idea..."
